OFF-SITE IMPROVEMENTS: Facilities which are required for the use and development of a particular property but which are located elsewhere. ON-SITE IMPROVEMENTS: Work completed on a property which adds to its value or utility. OUTBUILDING: A structure that is not a part of the main building but is necessary to the full enjoyment of the property (i.e. a shed, garage, etc.). OUTRIGGER: The extension of a rafter beyond the supporting wall line.
